Tabletop Scotland 2025

Wotan Games finally arrived at Tabletop Scotland, not as a poke at the crazy route Google took us on, through 411 miles, but the fact that this was our first time at this event.

Scotland - Lots of Sky

Now I would like to immediately thank the organisers, not only for the patience and calm understanding but also for the Coffee truck being open on setup day.

Alas, no Buses allowed so we stuck with tables and chairs and a whole new home of gamers. 80% of attendees do not go to another games conference so we will likely not have met them.

Stand ready for Action

We had only ever heard great things about Tabletop Scotland and over three days we were not disappointed. Three glorious weather days with lots of crazy demos and wonderful people, and let me tell you, it was a weekend brimming with laughter, strategy, and the kind of camaraderie that only a massive room full of board and TTRPG game fanatics can muster.

Team Rocket Celebration

Our crew was joined by our n00b Kyle, based in Scotland. He brought his A-game, learning our titles fast and demonstrating from day 1.

The hardest conversation to have was about our cheeky seller Brexit the Real Deal. In a Scottish event this is a sensitive subject and we did get some initial push back. However, as soon as people knew the game allowed them to play as Scotland, all sins forgiven.

Of course, our classics were there too, and if you missed the chance to snag one, fear not—they’re all waiting for you at shop.wotangames.co.uk, alongside some games from our equally delightful industry pals.

Quotes from our team, - “It was a wonderful time in Scotland, seeing the mountains and sky, and getting to meet a whole new crowd of gamers. Wonderful to see Ian again too” and from our newest team member – “Friendly faces, engaging games and buckets of fun”.
